Claramunt Blanc

Claramunt Blanc is produced from Garnatxa Blanca (White Grenache), Terra Alta’s signature grape. It is particularly susceptible to the elements, and can be grown in very few areas of Spain. The Cierzo & Garbi winds prevent the vines from overheating during the hot Summers. Moreover, the Garnatxa is often planted in between mesas to create a natural wind tunnel. Blanc de Claramunt’s character is crisp and fruit-forward with balanced acidity. Notes of apples, peaches, and tropical fruit are most prominent with good minerality.
